JetRift

Give players relic abilities

JetRift setup guide · Updated · Plugin v0.1.0

Relics gives marked vanilla items six powers: speed, haste, resistance, fire resistance, water breathing and slow falling. Hold a relic in your main hand and right-click, or use /relic use. Java and Bedrock share the commands.

Add Relics and Abilities to your world

  1. Open the plugin page and choose an existing world you own, or create a new world with the plugin selected.
  2. Check the included requirements. Each world supports up to eight plugins, including dependencies.
  3. Start a sleeping world, or use the dashboard restart option for a running world. Adding, removing and updating plugins takes effect when the world restarts; coordinate with anyone playing.

JetRift includes Shop and Economy automatically. A required plugin cannot be removed while this plugin needs it.

Enable Relics and give an item

Enable Relics in Plugins and restart. As an operator, replace Player with an online name. Each give delivers one marked item; renamed ordinary feathers cannot activate.

/relic list
/relic give Player fleet

Hold and activate the relic

Select the relic in your main hand and right-click or use the command. Inspect shows its effect and cooldown. Cooldowns are separate for each player and relic.

/relic use
/relic inspect

Tune a power

Operators configure title, duration, amplifier, cooldown and availability. Existing items follow current settings. Increase cooldown before increasing duration.

/relic settings
/relic set fleet cooldown 90
/relic set fleet duration 15
/relic set fleet amplifier 1
/relic set fleet title Wind Relic

Pause powers or reset a cooldown

Pause one power or all new activations. Reset targets an online player; omit the relic id for all six. Pending delivery reserves inventory until recovery finishes.

/relic set fleet enabled false
/relic settings enabled false
/relic reset Player fleet
/relic reset Player

Limits and compatibility

These instructions are for JetRift’s own Relics and Abilities plugin. JetRift does not install arbitrary Paper, Spigot, Forge or Fabric extensions. Commands use player names from your world; replace example names before running them. Operators can use the dashboard Console without the leading slash.
