Sell resources directly to another online player
Player Shops lets a player sell an entire listed bundle for one fixed price. It is a command marketplace: the seller keeps the goods until somebody buys them. Both players should understand that stock and coins are checked at the moment of purchase.
Add Player Shops to your world
- Open the plugin page and choose an existing world you own, or create a new world with the plugin selected.
- Check the included requirements. Each world supports up to eight plugins, including dependencies.
- Start a sleeping world, or use the dashboard restart option for a running world. Adding, removing and updating plugins takes effect when the world restarts; coordinate with anyone playing.
JetRift includes Shop and Economy automatically. A required plugin cannot be removed while this plugin needs it.
Prepare stock and publish one clear offer
Put ordinary goods in your main inventory and switch to Survival. This example lists sixteen stone for ten coins total, not ten per block. Keep that quantity available until the listing sells or you cancel it. Customized or component-bearing stock is excluded rather than silently substituted.
/pshop sell stone 16 10
/pshop listBuy while both participants are online
The buyer needs enough spendable Shop cash and inventory room, and the seller must remain online in Survival with the stock. Replace 1 with the actual listing number returned by the list. The purchase takes the complete bundle; use smaller listings if you want buyers to choose smaller quantities.
/balance
/pshop buy 1Close unused offers and handle interruptions
The seller can cancel an unsold listing without moving items because stock never left their inventory. A purchase already in recovery must finish its original request. Pending paid listings stay visible even after expiry; the original buyer should use the shown retry command with both participants back online.
/pshop cancel 1
/pshop listCheck the result
- Make a small sale and compare both balances plus the exact item counts; repeat the sold listing ID to confirm it cannot sell twice.
- Fill the buyer inventory first and check that the refused purchase changes neither stock nor cash.
Limits and compatibility
- These are online inventory-stock listings, not chest storefronts or offline stock escrow.
- Shop is required. Keep the original plugin enabled until any reserved transaction finishes; do not delete recovery data to clear a sale.
These instructions are for JetRift’s own Player Shops plugin. JetRift does not install arbitrary Paper, Spigot, Forge or Fabric extensions. Commands use player names from your world; replace example names before running them. Operators can use the dashboard Console without the leading slash.
