JetRift

Start a OneBlock island without clearing the normal map

JetRift setup guide · Updated · Plugin v0.1.0

Choose Skyblock for a dedicated island challenge, with a separate void world rather than a cleared Overworld. Decide between classic and OneBlock before creating an island: each player receives one allocation, and there is no reset command in this first release.

Add Skyblock and OneBlock to your world

  1. Open the plugin page and choose an existing world you own, or create a new world with the plugin selected.
  2. Check the included requirements. Each world supports up to eight plugins, including dependencies.
  3. Start a sleeping world, or use the dashboard restart option for a running world. Adding, removing and updating plugins takes effect when the world restarts; coordinate with anyone playing.

Choose the mode and create once

This example creates OneBlock, where confirmed ordinary Survival breaks advance the regenerating block through phases. Choose classic instead if you want the starter-island mode without that progression. Wait for setup to complete and inspect the island information; failed allocated setup can be retried with the same create command.

/island create oneblock
/island info

Use the starter supplies carefully

Inspect the protected starter chest for the sapling, ice, lava bucket and bone meal. Its saved issuance marker prevents a reconnect from becoming a refill button. Build on your own island, leave a safe landing spot and use island home when returning from elsewhere. Ordinary tools, drops and durability still matter for OneBlock.

/island home
/island info

Trust friends through island controls

The owner can trust an online friend using the island command; ordinary Land Claims trust is a different system. Replace Alex with the intended player and test both trusted and untrusted access. Operators can inspect limits and decide whether owners should return to their island automatically when reconnecting.

/island trust Alex
/island untrust Alex
/island settings
/island settings return_on_join true

Limits and compatibility

These instructions are for JetRift’s own Skyblock and OneBlock plugin. JetRift does not install arbitrary Paper, Spigot, Forge or Fabric extensions. Commands use player names from your world; replace example names before running them. Operators can use the dashboard Console without the leading slash.
