How to make a OneBlock server
OneBlock gives you a single block floating in the void. Break it and it comes back as something else, and what it turns into changes as you go, so an entire world gets built out of one square metre. On JetRift you make one by choosing OneBlock and naming it. The phases and progression are already configured. It runs Minecraft 26.2 on Java Edition.
What OneBlock is
There is one block. You break it, it drops something, and another block appears in the same place. Early on it is dirt and wood. Later it is stone, then ore, then things that are trying to kill you.
The trick is that you are standing on the only solid thing in the world, so every decision about what to build first is also a decision about not falling.
How to make one
- Sign in with Google.
- Choose OneBlock and name the world.
- Add your friends’ Minecraft usernames.
- Send them the address and start breaking.
Phases and progression
The block moves through phases as the total number of breaks goes up, and each phase changes what comes out. It is shared, so a group gets through it faster than one person does, which is the point of playing it together.
From the web page you can see which phase you are on, how many breaks are left in it, and jump to a different one if you would rather not grind back to where you were.

Is OneBlock the same as Skyblock?
No. Skyblock gives you a small island and leaves you to expand it. OneBlock gives you one block that becomes something different every time you break it, so the world is built from a single point.
What happens if I fall?
You respawn back at the block. Void protection is on, so falling costs you time rather than the run.
Can we play on one block together?
Yes, and it is better that way. The phase counter is shared, so everybody is working through the same progression at once.
Can I skip ahead to a later phase?
Yes, from the web page. It is there for when a group starts again and does not want to repeat the first two hours.
